The EPS Quality Audit Manager has been designed to assist with the monitoring and self-regulation of Research Projects and Clinical Trials and to assess compliance with good clinical practice and the applicable regulatory requirements. The application has been developed from manual processes currently in use within the NHS.
The system is supplied with a set of audit questions which can be adapted and used as a guide in developing user-specific audit templates relevant to the various groups of research projects and trials.
Results of the monitoring visits/audits can be updated on-site and centrally consolidated when completed. Each visit/audit is evaluated and assigned a compliance index for both mandatory and good clinical practice requirements allowing easy evaluation and comparison and highlighting areas for improvement.
Quality Audit Manager is made commercially available by EPS through NHS Innovations South East.
